『ヴォーグ』や『ハーパース・バザー』といった名だたるファッション誌などで、活躍した写真家リチャード・アヴェドン。こちらは90年代に開催されたリチャード・アヴェドン展の一枚。フロントにアヴェドンが撮影した Killer Joe Piroの有名なフォトがプリントされています。バックプリントは通常ニューヨークのホイットニーミュージアムで開催されていたため「1994 Whitney Museum of American Art」となっておりますが、「1995 The Minneapolis institute of Arts exhibition」とニューヨーク開催の翌年に7月9日から9月17日までミネアポリスで開催された展覧会の際のTシャツとなります。これまでもいくつかアヴェドンの展覧会Tシャツは見てきましたが、「ミネアポリス」バージョンはこの一枚しか見たことがなく、アートTシャツの中でも、非常に珍しいコレクタブルな一枚ではないでしょうか。コピーライトあり、サイズXL

Richard Avedon is a photographer who has worked for famous fashion magazines such as ``Vogue'' and ``Harper's Bazaar.'' This is a photo from the Richard Avedon exhibition held in the 1990s. The famous photo of Killer Joe Piro, taken by Avedon, is printed on the front. The back print is usually held at the Whitney Museum in New York, so it is called "1994 Whitney Museum of American Art," but it is called "1995 The Minneapolis Institute of Arts Exhibition" and was held from July 9th to September the year after the exhibition was held in New York. I have seen several Avedon exhibition T-shirts, but this is the only one I have seen in the ”Minneapolis” version, and I think it is a very rare and collectable piece among art T-shirts.
