Held on December 6, 1993, at the Astro Arena in Houston, this show took place during the final leg of Nirvana's In Utero tour. With The Breeders and Shonen Knife as the opening acts, it perfectly captured the peak of the alternative rock era. The concert is especially remembered for its promotional poster illustrated by legendary lowbrow artist Frank Kozik. Blending the visual language of 1950s American comic books with his signature mix of dark humor and pop sensibility, Kozik created an image that remains one of the most celebrated graphics in alternative rock T-shirt history.
