世界的に最も影響力のあるバンドの一つRED HOT CHILI PEPPERS。昨年の日本公演も大いに盛り上がったのは、記憶に新しいかと思います。こちらは、1984年の1stアルバム「The Red Hot Chili Peppers」のフォトを落とし込んだTシャツとなります。アルバムのフォトは、1970年代後半から80年代前半にかけてアメリカで誕生したハードコアシーンを撮り続けた写真家EDWARD COLVERにより撮影されました。撮影時に各メンバーに顎ゆるめてもらい頭を横に振り、印象的な表情のポートレートを撮影。こちらは、恐らくブートではなくオフィシャルに近いかたちでリリースされたものかと思われます。今でこそモンスターバンドとして世界的な地位を築き上げた同バンドですが、その最初期の一枚は、その現存数を考えても歴史的にも非常に価値があるのではないでしょうか。市場に出ることも非常に稀なコレクターズアイテムかと思います。

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS is one of the most influential bands in the world. I'm sure you remember that their performance in Japan last year was very exciting. This T-shirt features a photo from their first album, "The Red Hot Chili Peppers," released in 1984. The album photos were taken by photographer EDWARD COLVER, who continued to take photos of the hardcore scene that was born in the United States from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. When taking the photos, we asked each member to relax their jaws and shake their heads to the side, resulting in a portrait with an impressive expression.This is probably not a bootleg but an official release. Nowadays, this band has established itself as a monster band worldwide, but this first album is historically very valuable, considering how few copies there are. It's a collector's item that rarely appears on the market.
