After Apple founder Steve Jobs was fired from the company in 1985, he founded the legendary company NeXT with his former employees. The logo was designed by Paul Rand, a well-known graphic designer who has created logos and corporate identities for various companies including IBM. Rand is said to have produced a 100-page booklet detailing the brand, including the exact angle of the logo (28 degrees) and the correct spelling of the company's name (NeXT).
