スマイルに次いで、Nirvanaのアイコニックなデザインとして知られる渦巻き（通称「Ring of Hell」）。デザイナーは不明ながら、一説には、芸術家マルセル・デュシャンの実験映画『アネミック・シネマ』(Anémic Cinéma)にインスパイアされたデザインと言われています。数あるブートレグの中でも、デュシャン作品そのままの渦巻きを使用したものは少なく、アートファンも垂涎の1枚です。ほとんど切られていますが、わずかにアイルランド製Screen Starsのタグが残ったヨーロッパ製のボディが使用されています。

Second only to the smiley face, the spiral design commonly known as the “Ring of Hell” is one of Nirvana’s most iconic graphics. Although the designer remains unknown, it is said to have been inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s experimental film Anémic Cinéma. Among the many Nirvana bootlegs, examples using a spiral almost identical to Duchamp’s original artwork are particularly scarce, making this an especially desirable piece for art enthusiasts as well as vintage T-shirt collectors. The shirt is made on a European body, with a small portion of the original Irish-made Screen Stars tag still remaining, although most of the label has been cut away.
