Released in 1993 in an extremely limited quantity through CHAPT (with rumors that only a few dozen pieces were sold in Japan at the time), the Stussy × Carhartt collaboration remains one of the most important archive items in Stussy’s history. The collection included the “Detroit Jacket,” “Chore Coat,” and “Vest,” each featuring embroidered names of the three cities where the items were released: New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Compared to the “Detroit Jacket” and “Chore Coat,” the “Vest” in particular appears to have been produced in even smaller numbers.This piece has retained its color well, shows no major damage, and offers an excellent silhouette and fit. The vest is highly versatile for layering in all seasons except summer, expanding the range of styling possibilities.As one of the earliest collaborations between two of the most influential brands in streetwear, this item is rarely seen on the market and is traded primarily among serious collectors.
